Right now Nordstrom has a great shoe sale going on! I don't need a whole lot for this fall, but these Sperry Top-Siders caught my eye.

I read that wedges are back this season, which I couldn't be happier about! I am so much steadier on a wedge than a four inch heel. Also, a nude color will be great to invest in - I only have an open-toe wedge in a nude.
Don't you just picture yourself curled up in front of a fireplace with a good book and a glass of wine when you look at this sweater? It's enough to make it feel almost fall-like in Nashville right now!

Nordstrom offers free shipping & returns: yay!!
Today Nordstrom made a big announcement: free shipping and free returns, all the time, with no minimum! Yay!
I love, love, love Nordstrom for their exceptional customer service that goes along with a fantastic selection. Nordstrom is getting ready to open Tennessee's first store, about two miles from where I live, so I will admittedly use this offer less than if Nordie's wasn't around the corner. Still, I love it when a company offers this perk! I am a huge fan of ordering things to try on in my own home - with my own accessories, shoes, etc.
Are there any companies you wish would offer this perk (ahem, J.Crew I'm looking at you...)?

Anthropologie: Free shipping & returns through September
Anthropologie recently updated their website to include free shipping and returns though the end of September, no code needed. This is a great addition, as Anthro's website is usually a small fortune for shipping. I live about a mile from my local Anthro but parking and crowds can be crazy, so I do prefer to shop online. I ordered these two tops:

RueLaLa reduces their shipping charges
This week, RueLaLa unveiled their new program, The Rue 30:
I'm so happy this is offered. When RueLaLa first launched, they charged $9.95 per order - which could be pretty steep if you decided to order more than once in a day. For example, if you were waiting patiently for a Vineyard Vines dress (like I did once...), you would want to check out immediately to reserve your item. Then, RueLaLa improved yet again by making the $9.95 shipping charge good for the day, so you could check out once and not worry about paying again if another boutique caught your eye after lunch. This new program creates a $9.95 shipping charge good for 30 days, which I have no doubt will increase RueLaLa's sales. The old shipping charge method was definitely steep, especially for small orders or even electronic orders.
I do wonder if they will one day create some kind of shipping membership, much like Amazon Prime (which I have a membership to, and love). It certainly seems they are testing the waters for that kind of thing. How much would you pay for a shipping membership to RLL? I think something like $75 or $99 would be worth it, especially if it included free return shipping to RLL.
I also love RueLaLa's Local Picks section (it makes me homesick for Boston on a daily basis) - open a Nashville boutique!
