Rue Boston Pick, Friday 9/23: Boston Ballet's Romeo & Juliet

It's no secret to anyone who knows me that I'm a huge ballet fan and supporter.  I grew up loving the Boston Ballet, and currently am actively involved in supporting the Nashville Ballet as it grows!  Romeo & Juliet is one of the most beautiful, romantic ballets I have ever seen performed, and I know Boston Ballet will do it justice.  If you can, definitely log into RueLaLa and purchase this deal! I'm not sure what dates will be offered through RueLaLa, but Romeo & Juliet is scheduled to run November 3-12 at The Opera House.

All in all, I would have been happier with a 30% off across the board sale, but it's nice that these are not final sales and that free shipping is applied no matter what you spend.  I do love J.Crew's cashmere, and while most styles end up on sale, a few stay at full price throughout the year so it's nice to grab a deal where you can.  Also, I can't wait for sweater weather here in the south!  I am spending the upcoming weekend in Chicago and I'm so excited to get the sweaters out for that trip.

Through Saturday, Banana Republic is offering an extra 35% off of women's styles.  This fall has been all about the discounted merchandise for BR - I have to imagine that some people (like myself) are really de-valuing the brand quite a bit.  I now know to never pay full price, because if I wait a day or two, there will be a coupon for anywhere from 20% - 40% off.  I'm no business mind, but I'm really wondering what they are doing.
